Agenda: Discussing the role of foreign direct investment (FDI) and cyber security in delivering the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The World Economic Forumb is an independent organization for Public-Private Cooperation. The forum engages influential political and business leaders of today to shape global agendas. Founded in 1971, today it seeks to broaden its purpose as a platform for resolving international disputes. The WEF argues and believes that today's globalized world needs a coalition of multinational corporations, governments and civil society groups. Being an independent organization, the functioning and governance of this forum is quite different from international government organizations, with people such as Mr. Mukesh Ambani (Chairman of Reliance Ltd.) and Ms. Kristalina Georgieva (Director of IMF) serving on the board of trustees. Headquartered in Davos, Switzerland, the WEF meets annually with Chief Executive Officers of companies, politicians, academicians, and prominent NGOs to name a few as it’s delegates.
